The options in the Variable Assignments section of the dialog will determine the coordinates of the data being plotted on the graph. There are two dropdown boxes: one for the X variable and one for the Y variable. These dropdown menus will only display continuous variables from the data table. Note that all variables used on a multiple variables graph must come from the same data table. Note also that (for now) multiple variables graphs can only have on Y axis.

Variable Assignments

For each row*, the value in the variable assigned to the X axis will determine the horizontal coordinate, and the value in the variable assigned to the Y axis will determine the vertical coordinate.

*Only rows that have values for all assigned variables on the graph will be plotted. If any assigned variables are blank or excluded, data from that row will not be plotted, and a warning will be displayed on the graph.
